The constant expansion of the hub’s network of parterns is a very important task for us. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding ensures a strong network of support and a solid foundation for our initiatives and aspirations to flourish.
A recent addition to this network of parters has been the ‘Michael and Kitty Dukakis Center for Public and Humanitarian Service’. The MoU signed with our hub communicates imminent cooperation and mutual support between the two institutions.
It is truly an honor to have established such a relationship with the Bissell Library, a unique and pioneering forum in our city. The Dukakis Center is a private, independent and non-partisan collegiate forum for research and outreach, with a focus on citizenship and civic engagement which is unique in Europe. Their fundamental mission, one that our hub totally shares, is to inspire youth to take active and constructive roles in public affairs.
The MoU was signed based on our mutual belief that now more than ever young people need to feel that they have a fundamental contribution and measurable impact towards the well-being of their communities. Both the Dukakis Center and our hub firmly believe that our future depends on how effectively we inspire coming generations to involve themselves in public affairs. Thus, a very promising and surely fruitful cooperation between both parties lies ahead!
